EXIT Festival Completes the Line-Up of One of Its Strongest Editions Ever

The EXIT Festival has rounded off its entire line-up for one of its strongest editions ever. In a video, EXIT shows that the strength of the Novi Sad festival lies not only in its star-studded line-up but also in its musical diversity, facilitated by a series of smaller stages and zones. Unlike most other major European events, EXIT’s numerous stages offer an eclectic, multi-genre blend of almost all contemporary music genres, from the biggest global hits to underground electronic music, from classic rock to extreme heavy metal and punk, from old-school hip hop to trap, drum’n’bass, reggae, latino, and World Music.

The leading names on the top-class list of acts to arrive at the Petrovaradin Fortress from 7th to 10th July include Calvin Harris, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Iggy Azalea, James Arthur, Masked Wolf, ZHU, Sepultura, Maceo Plex, Honey Dijon, Boris Brejcha, Stephan Bodzin live, ARTBAT, Denis Sulta, DJ Tennis, Anfisa Letyago, Marky Ramone, Napalm Death, The Exploited, Blind Channel, Adam Beyer B2B Enrico Sangiuliano,  Dax J, Sama’ Abdulhadi, and a strong regional line-up led by Konstrakta, Senidah, Prti Bee Gee, Marčelo, Brkovi, Artan Lili, Paraf, Killo Killo, Mimi Mercedez, Kiril Djaikovski, Bojana Vunturišević, Deca loših muzičara, with hundreds of others following suit. Tickets at current prices will only be available until end-of-day Friday, June 24th, due to enormous interest and audience demand.

MAIN STAGE

The absolute headliners of the Main Stage this year are Calvin Harris and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. Iggy Azalea, James Arthur, Masked Wolf, Afrojack, Ofenbach, Disciples, Joel Corry, Jax Jones, Alok, ATB, ZHU, ACRAZE and Shouse bring exciting hits — both new ones and those we have been singing non-stop for years. Uncompromising guitar sounds arrive on the Main Stage with Sepultura, Napalm Death, Molchat Doma, Downstroy, and Alitor. The region’s most sought-after female acts, each in her genre – Konstrakta and Senidah will give the audience what they do best – authenticity and a unique voice. The exclusive hip hop/trap showcase “Back To The Future“ will have its world premiere on the Main Stage, with Ajs Nigrutin & Timbe vs Crni Cerak & Lacku from Serbia, Frenkie, Kontra, Indigo vs Muha from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Stole vs 30zona from Croatia will battle it out on mics. On the Main Stage will also perform Iva Lorens, Divolly & Markward, and Lady Lee.

mts DANCE ARENA

As every year, the list of performers at the mts Dance Arena serves as an irresistible invitation to dance and welcome the sunrise. Thursday is reserved for top B2B sets, starring Adam Beyer and Enrico Sangiuliano, ANNA and Sama’ Abdulhadi, Eli Brown and Ilija Djokovic, along with Reinier Zonneveld live, Anfisa Letyago, and Human Rias. On Friday, Maceo Plex, Honey Dijon, Denis Sulta, Brina Knauss, 84Bit B2B Tonbe, and Cristina Lazic will pick up where the others left off. With his high tech minimal techno, Boris Brejcha will give the crowd more energy than they know they had on the audience’s favourite festival day — Saturday! He will be accompanied by Mathame, Blond:ish, Mochakk, Bona Fide, and Space Motion. The final day, Sunday, brings an unprecedented turn towards more organic and lively sounds in the Arena, led by electronic music virtuoso Stephan Bodzin with his live act, accompanied by melodic artists Monolink and Satori as well as Coeus, Kezz and Cosmicat. One of the most coveted time slots at EXIT — the closing of the mts Dance Arena and the entire festival on Sunday — will be given to the duo ARTBAT, who have reached the peak of their music career, where they plan to remain!

EXPLOSIVE

In the deep trenches of the Petrovaradin Fortress, the Explosive stage will be home to traditionally fierce hardcore, metal, and punk! After three years, the stage returns to its old location, where The Exploited will thunder unstoppably, followed by Discharge, Bury Tomorrow, The Undertones, Incantation, Moscow Death Brigade, Nervosa, Tankard, Architect of Pain, Black Tooth, Chains, Heresy, Madvro, Misconduct, Noctiferia, Oathbringer, Progon, Shining, Stranger, Terminal Prospect, Crown Court, Lamori, Bohemyst, Smrt Razuma, Šank, Vox Populi, Chain Cult, Hexis, War Engine, 5 Minuta Slave, KPAX!, and Still Bleeding.

PACHAMAMA

This year, the Pachamama Stage will move to a new, larger location, overlooking the whole of Novi Sad and offering the most beautiful view of the sunset at the Petrovaradin Fortress. This stage will present the world’s biggest names in World and Conscious Music, such as Mose & Sam, Fia, LAOR, Maya Kamaty, Praful, Divanhana, as well as dozens of others.

THE SMALLER STAGES ARE THE SOUL OF THE FESTIVAL

EXIT is not just the biggest stages. The soul of the festival is in the smaller ones, which have been gathering fans of certain genres at the Fortress for years. There are, above all, the reggae epicenter Wenti Wadada Positive Vibrations Reggae, the favourite stage since 2001, the capital of drum’n’bass the X-Bass Pit, the hyper-energetic Gaia Trance Xperiment. Local acts will shine on one of the festival’s longest-running stages, the eternal Urban Bug; the hits are reserved for AS FM powered by Guarana and Silent Disco, while the fiery Aqua Viva Latino stage is in charge of the Latino beats.

EXIT will also present a new stage dedicated to house music this year.

The biggest step this year was made in the development and growth of the festival, its sound, stages and zones. There will be 40 stages and zones, and some of them are getting a completely new spirit.
