Sónar+D becomes a unique setting for sector-specific meetings that seek inspiration from the worlds of creativity and foster interaction with other professional profiles, present in Barcelona during Sónar 2019 on the 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th of July.
The 7th International Congress of Creativity and Technology in Barcelona will host a dozen keynotes, seminars, networking sessions and conferences as well as a number of sector-specific meetings for hundreds of professionals in tourism, telecommunications, media, entertainment or marketing, among other fields.
With a focus on vocational development, Sónar+D programmes workshops and meetings aimed at exploring formulas for financing cultural projects and defining new models for the distribution of digital content.
A total of 300 job interviews with more than 100 young candidates will take place together with Barcelona Digital Talent, a program that promotes and enhances digital professional profiles.
Activities of note include the keynote by John Hoffman, CEO, and director of GSMA Ltd. who will kick-start the program of Friday 19th, with a presentation of xside, a collaboration between 4YFN, Sónar and the GSMA MWC to launch a ground-breaking gathering where diverse communities come together; the workshop on innovation in communication for communication managers of large corporations organized by COTEC; or the INSIDERSconferences co-organized with Heywood&Sons, the consulting firm specializing in innovation for large companies.
In addition, the Congress will offer training and mentoring sessions for 21 startups from the creative industries sector in collaboration with 4YFN (4 Years From Now) and with the participation of investors such as Notion.vcwith more than 100 million to invest in Spanish startups or Nekko Capital SGEIC SA specialized in investing in disruptive companies.
