The Smashing Pumpkins are one of the key music bands to shape and stand for the grunge sound of the nineties with their unique blend of psychedelic rock, progressive rock, heavy metal, shoegaze and electronica. The band was formed in Chicago in 1988 by frontman and guitarist Billy Corgan, guitarist James Iha, bassist D’arcy Wretzky, and drummer Jimmy Chamberlin. The release of their debut album ‘Gish’ produced by Butch Vig propelled the band to the front row of the oncoming grunge wave that would grip the world music scene in the years to come. ‘Siamese Dream’ was released in 1993 to great commercial success thanks to hit singles ‘Today’, ‘Cherub Rock’, ‘Disarm’, and ‘Rocket’ as well as universal critical acclaim marking the multiplatinum album as one of the best alternative rock albums ever made.

November 2022 marks the start of The Smashing Pumpkins release of the first act of their long-awaited three-part album ‘Atum: A Rock Opera in Three Acts‘, with the third and final act released in May of 2023. ‘Atum: A Rock Opera in Three Acts’ is a three part studio released rock opera consisting of 33 individual songs that lean into the characters and subjects of ‘Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness’ (1995) and ‘Machina/The Machines of God’ (2000) – an intriguing and ambitious testament to the immense creative energy and drive of a band that already has over 30 million albums sold worldwide, an undisputable artistic reputation and countless headline performances across the globe. The Smashing Pumpkins will make their debut Croatia appearance at the upcoming 16th edition of INmusic festival in June 2024.

The National‘s newfound creative strength lies in their release of not just one great new record in this past year, but two great records – ‘First Two Pages of Frankenstein‘ released in April followed by the surprise release of ‘Laugh Track‘ in September of 2023. The National’s new era opens with a rebuilding of trust through the making of ‘First Two Pages of Frankenstein’ which serves as a sort of emotional inventory accentuated by guest appearances by Phoebe Bridgers, Sufjan Stevens and Taylor Swift while taking its full shape with the release of ‘Laugh Track’, the bands most reckless album in years, a vibrant musical exploration and product of their newly restored faith in oneself and one another. On the heels of the unique synergy of their latest sibling albums The National return to Croatia with a creative blaze and a special focus on the live performance and all its catalytic and cathartic potentials. With a special two hour long set at INmusic festival, The National will undoubtedly awe once again and reaffirm their status as one of the most beloved bands of our generation.

Sleaford Mods, a praised British post-punk duo from Nottingham established in 2007, are known for their raw, ‘minimal and brutal’ musical style and their bitter explorations of British culture and working-class life in the era of austerity. The band consists of vocalist Jason Williamson and, since 2012, musician Andrew Fearn. The controversial and political songwriter and singer Jason Williamson often criticises the political and social situation of the British lower-middle class directly and honestly through his lyrics. Williamson has said that their lyrics are „about real people struggling to survive in a world that’s becoming increasingly hostile to them.“

Their return to the INmusic festival is great news for all alternative music fans. Sleaford Mods are a band that doesn’t shy away from controversy, and their performances are always thrilling and unforgettable

Viagra Boys were formed after a lively night out at a karaoke bar in Stockholm in 2015. The name was chosen as a crude joke on modern masculinity, with songs serving up escapist narratives lacking any form of self-preservation; like an obscure back alley door into the backwaters of the human psyche. The band line-up currently features American lead singer Sebastian Murphy alongside Swedish musicians Linus Hillborg (guitar), Elias Jungqvist (keyboards), Henrik Höckert (bass), Tor Sjödén (drums), and Oscar Carls (saxophone).

The long-awaited premiere Croatian performance of Viagra Boys is certainly not to be missed on the stages of INmusic festival #16 in Jarun.

PAOLO NUTINI, the praised Scottish singer-songwriter has been blessed with a soulful, passionate voice, and the natural gift of musical storytelling. His deep, whiskey-tinged voice, brings an original blend of the golden and modern musical eras to create something original, captivating, and contemporary. The album gained recognition as a pivotal studio release which still inspires audiences to this day, awarded in 2023 with the ‘Modern Scottish Classic Award’. His second album, ‘Sunny Side Up’ (2009), received unanimous praise from critics and won the hearts of the audience. Nutini’s third studio album, ‘Caustic Love’ from 2014, is considered by many to be his best and most mature work, characterized by a retro-soul sound.`

A truly charismatic live performer, PAOLO NUTINI’s charming and flawless concert at INmusic festival 2015 left the audience in awe and patiently waiting for his return to Croatia. Nine years later the long awaited return is around the corner – PAOLO NUTINI will return to the green isles of lake Jarun at INmusic festival #16 in June of 2024!

DOGSTAR epitomize the quintessential Southern California storytelling rock band they’ve always been in their hearts, making deeply resonant music that literally comes from ‘Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees’ – the name of their new album which arrived October 6th, 2023 via their own label Dillon Street Records (distributed through ADA). Comprised of guitarist/vocalist Bret Domrose, drummer Robert Mailhouse and bassist Keanu Reeves, DOGSTAR was born in 1991 as a band of friends who came together in a garage in Southern California and simply dreamed of playing music together and making a little noise.

Now, all these years later, Domrose, Mailhouse and Reeves took some time at the tail end of an historic lockdown to create this collection of songs that fully encompasses who they are as artists today. The happily reunited rock trio’s official return came in May 2023 – more than 20 years since their last performance together – with their first public performance at the BottleRock Napa Valley music festival with a set that sparked fan and critical praise alike, including the live debut of their lead single “Everything Turns Around,” which was officially released on July 19.

During 2024, DOGSTAR will head “over the big pond” and into Europe with their rock’n’roll whirlwind. They are coming to Croatia for the first time as part of the impressive program of INmusic festival #16 in June 2024 along with many other amazing artists!
